Calvin Klein has been grabbing some headline space recently with a lingerie campaign starring a beauty who, as a size 10, has been put in the the plus-size category before she's stunning, no surprise, but if you'd asked me to estimate her size I'd say she was a 4 or 6, tops. That got me thinking of Lara Stonewho started steaming up the brand's underwear campaigns a few seasons ago and attracted attention for having a fuller cup size than the typical model especially compared with waifish Kate Mosswho will forever be associated with CK. Now, System magazine has unveiled a spread of Lara, shot by famous fashion photographer Juergen Teller, in which she's unretouched and partly nude.

Slender, leggy supermodels such as Bar Refaeli and Gisele Bundchen are taking a backseat these days to an unlikely supermodel contender in the form of Lizzi Miller — all glorious pounds of her. The photo shows Miller in all her blond beauty, flashing a confident smile — but also flashing some stomach pooch that hangs over her thong bikini. Game changer?
After the overwhelmingly positive reaction to the photo of plus-size model Lizzie Miller that Glamour ran in its September issue, the magazine showcases more plus-size models in the November issue. Scarlett Johansson appears on the November cover, wearing no pants. Perhaps because efforts like these are often written off as tokenizing publicity stunts, Glamour makes a pledge in the accompanying article about what size models should be to include more realistic-looking women in their pages moving forward.
